The Gonzales Flag, originally designed in 1835, is making a comeback today. The flag traces its origins to a minor skirmish, the Battle of Gonzales, during the Texas revolution. The men of Gonzales fired the little cannon at the Mexican troops. And they raised a flag sewn from a woman's wedding dress that showed a lone star, an image of the cannon, and the words "Come and Take It." Features strong duck heading and two large brass grommets. The slogan was used earlier during the American Revolutionary War in the Province of Georgia. All Annin Flagmakers flags are sewn in either South Boston, VA or Coshocton, OH. Our superior quality is time-tested and meets the requirements of the most discerning buyer. Nyl-Glo, Tough-Tex, and Bulldog are registered trademarks manufactured exclusively by Annin Flagmakers.
